Socio was launched in June 2018 and designed by Emaar specifically for young professionals and first-time buyers — compact layouts, industrial-inspired interiors with high ceilings and panoramic windows, and an unusually large allocation of shared social space on the ground floor. 

This positioning still defines the building today: it is one of the few addresses in Dubai Hills Estate where entry into the community is possible at or near the AED 1M mark.

Socio sits in the Park Heights district, in the central belt of Dubai Hills Estate. Dubai Hills Park, the longest community park in Dubai with a skate park, ice rink, and wadi trails, is within walking distance. 

Dubai Hills Mall (over 750 retail and dining outlets) is a few minutes by car, and Dubai Hills Golf Club with its 18-hole championship course anchors the western edge of the community.

Road access is via Al Khail Road and Umm Suqeim Street, placing Downtown Dubai and Business Bay within roughly 15–20 minutes and Dubai Marina within 20–25 minutes. GEMS International School Al Khail and GEMS Wellington Academy are within 1.5 km, and King’s College Hospital is inside the community.

Cooling arrangements in Emaar buildings in Dubai Hills Estate are currently subject to the Tasleem transition; chiller status for any specific unit in Socio is confirmed on a per-building and per-unit basis before offer.
